The fajitas were good. All in the texture : steak cooked to perfect medium rare, shrimp to perfect translucent, veg to seared crisp; handmade tortillas, both flour and corn, were awesome in their grainy, mealy, rough yet smooth rusticity — perhaps the best that I’ve ever experienced. Alas, everything was a bit flat in flavor, though the condiments compensated somewhat. Net positive.
Worth exploring others dishes that incorporate the tortillas.

woot! been waiting for this post! can’t believe this was three months ago..time flies. you never cease to impress me by remembering the food in great detail, even if it was quite a while ago. yeah, tortillas were so good!
