Pan-Seared Salmon & Cauliflower with Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce

As a parent and home-cook, I’m proud that I’ve raised my young boys to enjoy healthy foods that could be objectionable to many kids, such as cauliflower and salmon, or at least to eat them without fuss. My experience in child-rearing overall suggests to me that children’s preferences and practices, at least my children’s preferences and practices, are fundamentally inherented (nature) but can be carefully managed (nurture), which means that DJ and IZ may be genetically predisposed to enjoying/eating the foods that I enjoy/eat, but I do have to bring it out in them.
