Grilled Honey Tenderloin

One of the standouts from TERSP (see 7.257 Strawberry Shortcake), I was sadly disappointed tonight upon the first return visit since then. The Grilled Honey Tenderloin, for example, was way heavy on the soy sauce, like an amateur’s first attempt at “oriental stir-fry.” Everything else also seemed to fall short, in one way or another. Instant downgrade for the restaurant to yellow (as reflected in the final TERSP mapping).

Although I adamantly deny the existence of GMTD at work these days, even while rumors persist — I used to mention it to people, back before I became staff, before I’d come to fully appreciate the need for extreme caution in publicizing my food antics to the world (e.g., particularly details involving other staff) — a certain somebody has somehow discovered the blog. Yet she’s refrained from commenting on any posts, and thereby alerting me to her presence. Don’t know how long she’s been on the know, but I’d wager not too long, as she’s generally not the type to resist making herself heard. Anyway, the kat’s now out of the bag, so to speak.
