A new Chinese place had opened near HRS’s house, and she wanted to try it out, but not by herself, so she asked K staff living in BGC to accompany her.
The food was pretty good. Some hits, some near misses. The featured shrimp ball dish wasn’t necessarily the best as food per se — nicely crisp on the outside, succulent minced shrimp within, though the truffle sauce topping and underlying cucumber and toast and oyster sauce were entirely irrelevant — but the photo came out most distinctive. Overall, worth a return visit for further exploration.
