Spicy Tuna Maki (1.5): I don’t understand why some Japanese places here sprinkle raw red chili powder as a kind of garnish/seasoning, which only makes it gritty and bitter (see also 7.229 Karai Tekka Maki).

The food was pretty crappy across the board.  Poor quality ingredients, utter lack of sophistication in design and execution.
