Polpette = meatball.
Here, the polpette was served on a bed of polenta, topped with tomato sauce and gorgonzola cheese. The meatball was light in texture, almost fluffy, in a good way, while rich in meatiness. Paired very nicely with the polenta. Could’ve done without the cheese.
Supposedly, Italians in Italy don’t eat meatballs with spaghetti, which is an Italian-American thing (see 8.333 Chicken Marsala). I’m sure that at least one Italian person in Italy, at some point in history, has eaten a meatball with spaghetti.

On our third visit, I can now confirm that this our favorite Italian restaurant in the Philippines.
