In Amman.  Here to attend a Meeting of the Regional Parliamentary Working Group on Universal Health Coverage in the Eastern Mediterranean Region – Tue to Wed.  As focal point for the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum on Global Health (see most recently 9.231 Boodle Fight), I’m here to help WHO EMRO – which covers North Africa and the Middle East – set up their own forum, aimed for launch sometime in mid-2019.

This kind of thing – a huge vat of rice topped with entirely whole or big pieces of chickens – is apparently a thing here (see for example 6.156 Jordanian Grill Platter).  Amazed at how much these people can eat.
