KD’s partner ML, whom I’d met upon his arrival (see previously 10.034 SRF Wagyu Flatiron) – is going back to Canada. So I’d planned a special dinner for him and a few friends. But he fell ill at the last minute and couldn’t join us.
The meal consisted of grilled pork bellies, shrimp, and mushrooms, with romaine wraps, plus beans prepared four ways: mung bean fritters (see for example 10.177 Nokdu Jeon), braised tofu (see for example 10.176 Dubu Jorim), soy bean stew (see for example 7.075 Kong Jjigae), and tofu-miso paste (see for example 7.335 Ssamjang).
