Grilled Ribeye & Asparagus with White Truffle Oil

Whereas Koreans overwhelmingly prefer unmarinated meats for table-top grilling (i.e., “Korean BBQ”), the most common condiment is simply coarse sea salt in sesame oil, perhaps with a dash ground black pepper.
Tonight, I was suddenly inspired to try white truffle oil in place of sesame oil.
It totally worked, the musky perfume of the truffle pairing very nicely with the rich umami flavor of the beef.
After a while, we just poured the oil onto the meat as it cooked.
With better quality meat and better quality oil, this could be 4.0.
