Calamari Chopped Salad

at Devil’s Door (Coex)

Devil’s Door is an American pub.  Founded 2014 by Shinsegae.  Specializes in homemade beer.  Serves pizza, fried chicken, burgers, etc.

Our company is participating this week in a children’s fair at Coex.

At the end of Day 2 – I’ve been in charge of the picture book section – I was so exhausted that I could barely walk.  I dropped by Devil’s Door for a beer or two or three before heading home.

Located on the ground floor of Coex, west side.
Big place.
The “can glass” came with 450 ml of beer, a bit pricey at 10,000.

The food was fine.  The beer was fine.  I was just grateful to sit down.

As part of my Newbery project, I am currently reading The Bronze Bow, which is about a Jewish freedom fighter who meets Jesus – kinda ironic to be reading this book at this restaurant.
Although I had very low expectations, I was happy to find that the salad included artichokes, cucumbers, olives, capers, and sun-dried tomatoes.
