Kimchi Burrito

2.0

at Taco Bell (StarCity Mall)

-Jayang, Gwangjin, Seoul, Republic of Korea-

solo

While waiting for Louis to get an eye examination at Konkuk University Animal Hospital, I explored StarCity Mall across the street.  I was happy to find that the mall hosts a Taco Bell.

The outer seating area was closed off, presumably in response to the pandemic, but the more cramped, less ventilated inner seating area was open.
They charge for hot sauce – unbelievable.

The kimchi burrito was not very good.   First problem: the stir-fried kimchi was too ripe, too intense, too much, overpowering the rest.  Second problem: it contained a weird sauce, kinda like Cheez Whiz, which tasted artificially creamy and didn’t go with the kimchi.  Perhaps the first time that I was outright disappointed by a Taco Bell item.

I can’t recall if it contained any meat.
Fries (1.0): inedibly dry and flavorless
