at McDonald’s (E-Mart)
-Seongsu, Seongdong, Seoul, Republic of Korea-
McChicken Mozzarella is a sandwich from McDonald’s Korea. Based on the McChicken, with a pair of mozzarella cheese sticks and “arrabbiata” sauce thrown in.
The McChicken Mozzarella was not good. The cheese sticks tasted oily, like they’d been deep-fried at a low temperature. In fact, they weren’t fully melted, so instead of crispy pockets of oozy gooey goodness, they were just softish logs surrounded by breading. Also strange having two differently deep-fried items on top of each other – this kind of similar-yet-not similar pairing of textures is what creeps me out about ice cream with whipped cream. And finally, the whole thing was clunky and difficult to eat.
Bad news: the Meat Chili Beef Burger and Meat Chili Chicken Burger are no longer available.
