In light of the upcoming Children’s Day (May 5), the company is holding a family sale this week at The Hyundai Pangyo, a shopping mall.  I dropped on my way home to see how things were going.

Afterwards, I had dinner in the mall.

Locos BBQ is an American restaurant chain.  Founded 2014 in Korea.  Currently 5 locations across the country. Specializes in American-style barbecue meats.

The food was mostly miss.  The beef brisket was dry and flavorless, even if doused in sauce.  The pulled pork was marginally better.  The baby back ribs were tender, fall-off-the-bone, and tasty.  The buns, not grilled, a bit cold, were overly sweet.  The fries, slaw, and beans were okay.  A decent meal overall, but definitely not worth a repeat visit.

Linus’ BBQ was much better (see 12.092 Spare Rib Platter).
