Smoothie King is an American beverage chain. Specializes in fruit smoothies made to order. Founded 1973 in the USA. In 2012, the company was purchased by a South Korean national, who had been a Smoothie King franchisee. In 2015, it was acquired by Sinsegae Food. The company has over 700 locations, mostly in the USA, a couple hundred in Korea.
I would’ve wagered the souls of my unborn grandchildren that I had seen/experienced Smoothie King in the Philippines, which is why seeing the branch in Starfield Wirye had elicited a ping of nostalgia. But no.
While I generally dislike fruit, I might eat the following under the right circumstances: firm white peaches, sliced; Bartlett pears, skin-on; seedless watermelon, chilled, cubed; ripe mangoes in the Philippines.
I might drink a fruit smoothie once a year, usually peach-based, sometimes blueberry.
Peach Mango Extreme was extremely sweet.
