Myeongjang Chamchi is a Japanese restaurant.  Specializes in tuna sashimi, served on platters with Korean-style side dishes.

Located on the 2nd floor of the same building as and directly above Jeon (see 12.318 Ojingo Muchim).

Incidentally, the chicken incident is still pending.  Referred to arbitration by the prosecutor, the opposing party demanded 1.5 million won to settle, but I refused.  The case is now with the court, which is likely to assess fines on both sides.  I am more fearful of a civil suit that may follow.  Stay tuned.

The food was meh.  We ordered the Business set, the cheapest dinner set at 40,000 won per head.  Passable, predictable.

The first re-up.

So tired of Koreanized Japanese sashimi set meals (see most recently 13.067 Teuk Sashimi Set), I am placing an indefinite moratorium on them, at least for family dinners.
