The food stalls have become a regular fixture at E-Mart, with ever rotating vendors (see most recently 11.339 Mandu).
Twigim Bucket is Korean food vendor. Their eponymous product is a bucket of deep-fried items (twigim), hence the name of the operation.
Walking past, I was intrigued by the whole (tong) squid (ojingeo), battered and deep-fried on a stick. Never seen it done quite like that (see for comparison 12.316 Bulggot Ojingeo).
It was kinda crappy. The crust was okay, crispy and nicely seasoned, though it wasn’t properly adhered to the squid. The squid itself was dry and skimpy. Made for a passable snack with a glass of beer.
