In the wake of my cousin’s good-faith-fall-short attempts to make gambas al ajillo (see 12.277 Gambas al Ajillo), I was inspired to develop a proper recipe (see 12.343 Gambas al Ajillo).  Tonight was the first opportunity to show him the righteous path.

Initially dismissive of extra effort involved, primarily the pre-cooking of the shells, he seemed duly impressed by the results.
