What was briefly our neighborhood go-to Korean BBQ restaurant, we suddenly stopped going (see most recently 12.069 Dweji Galbi).  Partly, because we began to feel under-appreciated as loyal customers who’d been there from the grand opening, dining there even when the place was mostly empty during the pandemic – an occasional freebie, like a complimentary pot of gyeran jjim, would’ve been nice.   And then, I stopped eating meat, so we haven’t been going to Korean BBQ restaurants in general – only 5 posts since March 2021.

Every main dish at Cheonnyeon Galbi involves pork or beef.  The only side dish that doesn’t include meat is gyeran jjim.

This is the first time on GMTD featuring gyeran jjim at a restaurant.
