Despite a mediocre first experience (see most recently 13.293 Gyeran Mari), I was willing to give the restaurant another shot bcecause: a) I prefer to support independent operations (95% of restaurants these days are chains), b) I respect the no-nonsense, no frills menu.
The dubu kimchi was good. The hand-made dubu, likely produced in-house, was silky yet firm with a delicate nutty flavor. The stir-fried kimchi, comprising high quality kimchi cut from whole cabbage, was very nicely balanced, and not too much meat. Solid effort.
