Tonight, Korea played its first match of World Cup 2022, against Uruguay.  0-0 draw.  IZ, summarizing the universal truth about the sport: “Oh my god, soccer is so boring.”

W’s bedroom – originally 2 bedrooms, with the wall in between knocked down to make 1 monster room, nearly twice as large than the master bedroom (my bedroom) – it has 2 doors, 2 air-conditioners, 2 windows, 2 ceiling lamps, 2 ottomans, 1 sofa, 1 dining table, 1 executive desk, 1 12-drawer dresser, 1 king-sized bed, and 1 espresso machine (see frame right).

Anticipating an absurdly long wait to receive fried chicken by delivery – on the evening of any international soccer match featuring Korea, even a friendly, it usually takes around 2 hours – I just made some myself, using boneless thighs that I usually keep on hand.
