In Incheon.  Supervising a book fair this week at Chadwick International, our third one at this school (see most recently 14.140 Palak Dal).  As with last year, given the work load and long distance from home, I will be staying in a hotel for the duration, joined by other staff, who will arrive the evening before their shift the following morning.

CI Winter 2024 Book Fair (Day 1 of 3)

Part of the deal is that I buy dinner.

The Maharaja Course includes a whole tandoori chicken, palak flat bread + 2 curries + 4 pieces of naan + saffron or basmati rice + 4 drinks – not a bad for 72,000 won.

Palak Flat Bread is an Indian dish, perhaps.  Piece of naan (flat bread), topped with raw spinach (palak) and other vegetables, as well as oranges slices, drizzled in olive oil, dusted with parmesan cheese.  No idea if it’s an actual thing or a dish invented by the restaurant – reminded me of a similar dish at Agra (see 13.184 Truffle Snowing Bread), so maybe it’s a Korean-Indian thing?  Whatever.
