In Incheon.  Supervising a book fair this week at Chadwick International, our third one at this school (see most recently 14.140 Palak Dal).  As with last year, given the work load and long distance from home, I stayed in a hotel for the duration, joined by other staff, who arrived the evening before their shift the following morning.

It wrapped today.

What’s amazing is that we’d packed 40% less than last spring, but generated the same revenue, a phenomenon that I’ve been tracking at book fairs this fall (see also 14.316 Chicken Teriyaki).

I was very impressed to find saengseon jeon, which requires a lot of cost and effort to make (see generally 3.200 Saengseon Jeon (with recipe)) – as one of the banchan in the Korean lunch corner of the cafeteria today.

On the basis of the saengseon jeon, as well as the gyeran jjim from yesterday, CI jumps up 2 spots in the IRIS rankings from #6 to #4.
