While ggomak are typically parboiled then sauced (see for example 2.307 Ggomak Muchim), they can be eaten plain, perhaps dipped in chogochujang (as here).
Which is fine as far as the food itself is concerned, but I find them kinda creepy looking without the sauce and aromatics to cover up the weird bits.
