Spent the morning at KIS to run book sales during a visit by picturebook author-illustrator Aram Kim – the first such event of the new semester.

Coincidentally, the final author visit that we’d supported last semester had also been at KIS (see generally 15.140 Spicy Sausage Stew).

Her most famous work is No Kimchi for Me!

After ordering delivery from Shanghai, I recalled having a couple cups of leftover jasmine rice from the Chinese spread a few days back (see generally 15.246 Mongolian Beef) and made an impromptu bowl of fried rice to round out the meal.

If I do say so myself, my homemade version beats any fried rice at any Korean-Chinese restaurant in Korea.
