Having described this kind of Korean “sausage” in a post long ago (see 6.345 Sausage Jeon), this was my first attempt at making the dish at home.

It’s labelled in English as “fresh sausage.”
As can be seen, there is really no actual meat, nothing fresh about it.

Not sure what came over me, as I’m not a big fan, just saw the product in the supermarket and picked one up.

Sliced into discs, tossed in flour, dipped in egg wash, pan-fried in oil.

Meh.  W enjoyed them, as only Korean people born in the 1970s and earlier can.  DJ and IZ both took a nibble and stopped there – “eww, what is this??”  I’d be perfectly content never to encounter these again for the rest of my life.
