Recalling lessons from my unsuccessful prior attempt at making roast beef sandwiches from scratch (see previously 15.097 Roast Beef (Tenderloin) Sandwich), I was careful this time to start with less meat, heat it up, and season it.

With meat from the roast beef a few days back (see 15.344 Roast Chuck Eye Roll).  

Much, much better.
