Jeongdong is a Korean restaurant.  Primarily a venue to prepare both seafood and meats purchased elsewhere in the market.

Located on the 2nd floor of building 4.

Previously, the store that sells us the crab had taken us to Areumdaun Hangang (see 13.343 King Crab and More), but this time recommended Jeongdong as newer/better alternative.  They were right.

Much quieter and roomier dining environment.

On LJY’s final day in town, we took her to eat king crab at Garak Market.

5,000 won per customer for the seating charge, but 8,000 if they don’t order maeun tang, which is 10,000 won if they bring the fish bones but 15,000 won if they don’t.

The price of crab has gone up a bit since our prior visit.  Now 115,000 won per kilo (previously 100,000 won), a single crab at 3.5 kg came out to 409,000, which he rounded down to 400,000.

San Nakji (2.0): tastes like nothing, except the sesame oil and salt – on the house.
Mixed Hoe (sashimi) (3.0): includes yellowtail (sorta), fluke, salmon, snapper – additional 80,000 won.
Steamed Shellfish (3.0): includes oysters, clams, scallops, shrimp – on the house.
Legs are for losers; winners eat body meat, which is supremely sweet and tender.
Tomalley Fried Rice (3.5): perfect way to end the meal.

They seemed to enjoy the food.
