Gave the “wheat wraps with bran” one final shot (see most recently 16.265 Burrito Stuffing) – this time lightly frying them in oil, hoping the process would soften them up – but no, still inedible.
The steak was good: USDA Prime ribeye, salted in the fridge for 2 days then chargrilled.
