Grilled Chicken Steak

On this 6th occasion eating at the IKEA food court (see most recently 15.008 Smoked Salmon Salad), I’ve concluded, sadly, that the food is just not very good, no matter how much I’ve tried to embrace the culinary offerings from this global juggernaut of Swedish culture. The so-called “Grilled Chicken Steak” was a skin-on chicken thigh, apparently oven-roasted, with fries and honey mustard sauce – ugh. I will continue to purchase food products from the store – IKEA is the only source of sweet green peas in Korea that I’m aware of – and maybe nibble at a meatball platter on occasion while waiting for W to finish shopping, but I intend never to eat another full-on meal here.
