Casa del Mexicano is a Mexican restaurant.  Catering primarily to Americans, the menu leans Tex-Mex but also offers authentic dishes, such as menudo, flautas, quesabirria, etc.

Located 250 m from Osan Airbase Main Gate.

Another gathering with the boys from Pyeongtaek (see most recently 17.145 Special Cuttop Sirloin (C+ Special)), this time in Songtan.

Nearly empty, probably because of the Korea-US Friendship Cultural Festival.

I asked Jay to find a non-Korean restaurant; by sheer coincidence, he selected Casa del Mexicano, even though he’d never been there before (first time for everyone, except me), and it’s not that popular or well-known.

On my one prior visit to Songtan, MtG and I had stumbled into the place entirely at random (see generally 16.073 Jeonguk Odae Jjambbong: The Yeongbinru).

Cerro de Oro Tequila (2.5): double shot = 5,000; I asked for a double double, and she poured me a triple double – not bad for 10,000.

The food was as good as I remembered.

Before grabbing a taxi back home, I picked up a midnight snack, but I can’t remember what it was, whether it was any good.
