Mu guk is a Korean dish. Soup, prepared by boiling beef for several hours in water, then adding slices of radish, leeks, salt, pepper, a touch of soy sauce, a touch of sesame oil. While the name of the dish refers to the radish (mu), the main thing is the beef, quality beef, preferably brisket.
Our nanny, who isn’t always the best cook, somehow managed to get this one right. And my boy, who hasn’t been eating well recently due to illness, couldn’t get enough.
