A standard fixture in any properly outfitted Korean barbecue restaurant – at least in Korea, can’t recall ever seeing one outside of Korea – is a retractable vacuum hose that extends from the ceiling down to just above the grill surface and sucks out the smoke while the meat is cooking.
I’m installing one over the dining table in my home the next time that I get a chance to remodel.
