Chili Con Carne is a Mexican dish.  It’s a stew comprising meat (usually beef), often with beans, in a thick tomato-based broth seasoned with chilies, onions, garlic, cumin.  Essentially Mexican in spirit, though modern forms have been popularized north of the border, leading many to characterize the dish now as “Tex-Mex.”

I like to add corn, for DJ.
