A spur-of-the-moment dinner party with the K family had me scrambling to put food on the table.

The main course was pan-grilled samgyeopsal, with all the standard fixings, which I was proud to cook and serve on my new Snow Peak IGT (Iron Grill Table) system in the living room.  As an accompaniment, I made jjol myeon from a DIY package, which came with uncooked noodles and sauce; I added the cabbage, bean sprouts, and perfectly boiled egg, and remixed the sauce with additional sesame oil and sugar.  It went well with the greasy pork bellies.
