Potage Velouté aux Champignons

Not a big fan of Western-style soup, especially creamy ones.

But through the magic of Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, I succeeded in concocting an amazing French cream of mushroom soup.  And it only took 8 tablespoons of butter.  The flavor of mushrooms, which I do like, was intense.
