Spaghetti in Mushroom-Meat Sauce

The first real dish that I ever learned to cook from scratch, courtesy of my mother back in high school, was spaghetti in meat sauce. Having made it regularly throughout college, back before I started to take cooking more seriously and experiment with other things, it’s unquestionably the dish that I’ve made the most throughout my life. The basic recipe remains the same (i.e., olive oil + onions + garlic + ground beef + canned tomatoes + tomato paste + water + oregano + salt + pepper), though I’ve experimented with additional ingredients since (e.g., milk / breadcrumbs / mushrooms / olives).
