For most of our stay, we hung out at Savannah Grill. At times, I did wonder whether we should try to take advantage of the various other opportunities that the resort had to offer. But we were having such a blast, why bother.
For our next trip wherever, I’m thinking that we may just need to find a small boutique hotel in which all the amenities are centralized/concentrated, quality over quantity.

Savannah Grill has one of the three chlorinated swimming pools in the resort (the salt-water lagoon that dominated most of the property leaves a slightly icky residue on the skin), the only one in which most of the pool is shaded under tree cover. The pool is only 1 meter at its deepest, so IZ could roam freely.
Another benefit is that food from the restaurant can be consumed indoors, under air-conditioning, if it gets too muggy outside.
The menu is clearly geared towards kids, and/or beer drinkers.

And yes, the food is pretty good.
The hotdog is Hungarian because it’s topped with chili con carne.
Happy Hour: 2-for-1 drinks from 1600 to 1900. I’ll take 6-for-3, thank you.

We enjoyed all of our meals poolside.
