with the Family
Our Second Family Vacation to Plantation Bay Resort & Spa (This Time with Momo) (Day 3)
The food at Kilimanjaro Kafé was pretty good. Better than I remembered (see previously 2.123 Chicken and Pork Adobo). The inihaw na pusit was nice, the grilled squid was plump and juicy, while the tomatoes and onions stuffing was well-seasoned. The bean sprouts, lightly stir-fried in oyster sauce, was simple yet tasty, great for the kids when mixed with steamed rice. The boys loved the spaghetti, Filipino-style. Overall, this was the best meal that we’ve ever had at the resort.
At the time of planning, a long stay had seemed like a good idea – “Let’s just live there for awhile.” By the end of Day 3, not so much. The only thing to do has been to splash around in the pool all day. They’ve had so much fun for the past few days that they’re now at the point of exhaustion and extreme crankiness. We’ll be quite content to leave tomorrow.
