Mirza Ghasemi is a Persian/Iranian eggplant dish.  Consists of eggplant, ideally roasted, then mashed and mixed with tomato puree and minced garlic, seasoned with various spices.  Like baba ghanoush but with kick. Served as a dip with flatbread or as a side dish with grilled meats.

Mirza Ghasemi (3.25)–smoky and savory, making the rest of the platter seem bland by comparison; the clear highlight of the entire meal.
