The galbi was pretty good. The skilled knife work to butterfly the short ribs evidenced not only technical competency but, more importantly, dedication to the craft. The seasoning was nicely balanced. The meat was a tad tough, but pleasantly so.
If only the side dishes, which is what makes Korean food Korea food, lived up to the same standard.
