Engawa Aburi

We had sworn off the branch of this restaurant in SM Aura, but we were in the mood for Japanese.

Not sure how I feel about applying aburi to engawa, which may be perfect as is.  The result was fine – the touch of charred flavor pairing nicely with the fattiness of the fish –  just perhaps unnecessary.
