Kimchi Bibim Myeon

Before DJ goes off to college – holy shit, since when do I have a kid who’s but 5 years removed from college?!?! – I will ensure that this is one of the dishes that he has mastered. It’s cheap and convenient, requiring just kimchi, sesame oil, gochujang, sugar, dried noodles, seasoned laver (optional), and takes less than 10 minutes to make. It’s tasty and filling, not that nutritious but better than junk food. And it looks elegant when plated properly – in case he needs to impress a certain someone. Sad that I seem to make the dish for only myself these days (see most recently 7.227 Kimchi Bibim Myeon), even though it’s such an easy way to impress W.
