Tekka Don is a Japanese dish. Slices of tuna sashimi (tekka) laid over a bowl steamed rice (don).
In consideration of the ever rising cost of our bills at Japanese restaurants due to IZ’s growing appetite for tuna sashimi, I had the idea of ordering tekka don. At Keizo Gastropub, an order of tuna sashimi is 380 pesos, compared to 450 pesos for tekkadon, which seems to have much more fish, plus rice.
IZ didn’t take to it.
