Oven-Roasted Gold Mountain Pork Belly

I had instructed W to set the oven to bake at 200°C for 1.5 hrs, but she accidentally set it to broil.  Within 30 minutes, the kitchen was engulfed in smoke from the burning meat.

After slicing off the burnt crust, the flesh underneath had turned out okay – nice and smoky.

MIL just loves to litter the table with bits and pieces of food.
