Braised Bean Sprouts & Clams

I had bought the bean sprouts and the clams separately, both because they looked so gorgeously fresh and tasty, no specific plans for either. To maximize their natural flavors, I braised the bean sprouts in water and rice wine with garlic, scallions, and radish, seasoned with soy sauce and black pepper, then added the clams towards the end. It turned out fine, but I should’ve added more water to make it a soup.
