with the Family and UJK’s family

UJK and her family are in Korea, partly on medical leave, partly annual leave, partly terminal leave.  They’ve had a pretty rough time in Kiribati since relocating there early last year (see 10.077 UK’s Farewell Wellness Lunch).  Hoping to provide an opportunity to stretch out, splash around, and get some fresh air, I invited them to the cabin for an overnighter.  So good to see them – sadly, now that I am no longer with WHO, and UJ is soon to be reassigned (promoted) to a new (higher) post in a different (South East Asia) region (congratulations!), I don’t know when I’ll ever see them again (hopefully when we get a chance to visit India someday soon).
