at Myeongga Gyodong Jjambbong

Following our initial excellent experience with the restaurant’s signature jumbo (wang) seafood (haemul) jjambbong, we were looking forward to trying the meat (gogi) version, hoping it would be as good as the shaved beef brisket jjambbong that we loved in Manila (see 10.271 Chadol Jjambbong).
Alas, the meat was thinly sliced pork, which was fine in itself but didn’t impart the same fatty beef richness to the broth. Anyway, it was still good, primarily the noodles.
