DJ, who is now a freshman at SIS, made the junior varsity volleyball team!

A core principle of GMTD is that I can brag about myself whenever the occasion arises, or whenever I want, because it’s my blog.  Like so: 32 years ago, in my junior year at SIS, I made the boys varsity volleyball team in its inaugural season, named Most Improved Player at season’s end; the following season, I was Co-Captain, Most Valuable Player, All-Conference, and All-Tournament.

To commemorate DJ’s achievement, I made Spaghetti Dominico, which was invented in his honor, though I haven’t made it in nearly a decade (see most recently 2.341 Spaghetti Dominico Redux).
