Uncle 39 is a Korean pub.  Offers a range of anju, primarily suited to accompany beer, also soju, mostly Korean in style, and Koreanized versions of western dishes.

Located in the commercial center next to our apartment complex.
Terrace seating! (Having brought Lulu, we took a table outside, but didn’t last long due to the cold.)
Inside.

On a walk-walk with Louis Le Pieux, we saw the bright lights and dropped by for a quick snack-snack.

I am loathe to admit that I’m beginning to like draft Cass, ice cold, which tastes deliciously like nothing.

I’m not a huge fan of golbaengi, which has been featured only once on GMTD, during Cycle 1 (see 1.163 Golbaengi with Sari), but W loves it – in fact, that prior occasion in 2010 was under similar circumstances prompted by W.

It was okay.  A bit too spicy, too many onions.  The noodles were nicely moist (this type of noodle can turn out dry and stuck together).  Pretty good all around.
