Sushi Ian is a Japanese restaurant. Offers sushi, delivered via conveyor belt. 1,890 won per plate.

Just opened, we were compelled to give it a try, given the name of the place.

The food was fine, about as good as could be expected. I appreciated the better product at a slightly higher basic price, rather than the bait-and-switch at other supposedly cheaper operations (see for example 12.310 Hwangsaechi (Belly) Nigirizushi).

Whereas the quality of raw fish tends to fall short at such establishment, I prefer the gimmicky items, often involving cooked shrimp and/or artificial crab, which are usually fun, predictably tasty.
